Lung Cancer Statistics You Need To Be Aware

without comments

In the all types of cancers the lung cancer is found very common. It is the second highest cancer that is cause of thousands of deaths every year and it seems we all know what is lung cancer.

The main cause of lungs cancer is smoking and about eighty five percent deaths of lung cancer are caused by smoking. That is why the ratio of lungs cancer is increasing day by day.

The highest ratio of the lung cancer is found in the continents of America and Africa and the answer is that the smoking ratio is highest in these regions.

If you look at the statistics about the survival ratios from the cancers every year then eight seven percent of breast cancer patients survive while sixty two percent colon cancer patients recover and about ninety seven percent of people survive from prostate cancer but you will be shocked to know that only fifteen percent of patients survive who are suffering from the lung cancer.

So if you are a smoker think again about quit smoking plan because the survival rate of the patients is very few for the lungs cancer, and if you cross the initial stages of it then it is almost impossible to get recovery from lungs cancer and the result would be death. Because death is what is cancer all about, I’m afraid.

Approximately there are nine times more chances of getting lungs cancer for those who smoke and about twenty three percent people have the tendency for lungs cancer if they do not quit smoking.

So statistics for the lungs cancer shows that mostly its patients are smokers and if you do not want to die or live a miserable life from lungs cancer then quit smoking today to save your health and life, and avoid a future of chemotherapy treatment.

This can make you and people living around you saved from lungs cancers because passive smokers have also possibility of the lungs cancer.
